The C Scope cable avoidance tool<\/a> is a high performance locater which uses digital signal processing technology.\u00a0 It is the tool of choice for determining the exact location of buried pipes and cables when carrying out excavation work.<\/p>\n

This model has an extra detecting mode ( AllScan)\u00a0 which improves signal interference rejection. \u00a0The information about the position of buried pipes and cables can now be accessed faster.<\/p>\n

When combined with a C.Scope SGA or SGV Signal Generator and accessories, the CXL cable avoidance tool becomes a versatile, all round pipe and cable locating and tracing package.\u00a0 It has an LCD meter with an automatic backlight, , detachable loudspeaker and easy-to-use fingertip controls.<\/p>\n

There are four detecting mode<\/p>\n

1. Power Mode<\/p>\n

This is the quickest way to detect most buried electricity cables by detecting the signal created by the electrical current itself.<\/p>\n

2. Radio Mode<\/p>\n

This mode detects re-radiated \u201cradio\u201d type signals that are often present on metal pipes and cables allowing their position to be determined using just the CXL alone.<\/p>\n

3. Generator Mode<\/p>\n

This is used to detect the signal applied to a metal pipe or cable by a C.Scope SGA or SGV Signal Generator. The Generator mode can also be used to detect the signal being transmitted by a C.Scope Sonde for non-metallic pipe tracing.<\/p>\n

4. Allscan Mode<\/p>\n

This new mode detects all frequencies of signal from the lowest of the power signals right up to and including 33kHz. It is an all-in-one mode which can detect unusual frequency signals often overlooked in other modes. This can often speed up the locating process with just one sweep of the site.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n
