It uses a 350 mm cutting disc giving a max cutting depth of 125mm

- High Power, Low Maintenance – Stihl’s modern 2-stroke engine uses an advanced design that separates the unburned fuel-air mixture in the crank case from the exhaust gas in the combustion chamber using a layer of fuel-free air. This prevents much of the loss of unburned petrol common to conventional 2-stroke engines, and greatly reduces both exhaust emission and the amount of fuel consumed by up to 20%It also allows for a lighter, more powerful engine overall.
- The number of strokes needed to start the motor is also reduced by means of a small fuel pump, which effectively pre-charges the motor.
- To reduce maintenance, the life of the air filter is greatly enhanced by Stihl’s cyclonic pre-filtration system. The indrawn air is forced into a spin, causing heavy particles to be ejected before reaching the filter.
- Ergonomic Design, Easy Handling – The saw is provided with a loop handle designed to offer the user an optimum grip, making the machine easier to handle and manoeuvre as well as more comfortable to operate.
