The Makita router is part of the 40v Max XGT range of tools, which combines innovative tool design and high-output batteries to provide a real solution for high-demand industrial users. It features a brushless motor that delivers the same high power as an AC motor and constant speed control increases power to the motor depending on workload.
It has an aluminium body and base that provides accurate routing/trimming and a LED job light provides high-resolution visibility. Other features include variable speed control with soft start, soft brake to prevent material damage and anti-restart, which prevents accidental operation on battery change.
