So, do you sand the floor yourself or do you get a company in to do it?
You have probably Googled “Floor Sanding” and found various companies saying how you need to hire professionals instead of doing it yourself.
This is not true at all.
We hire dozens of floor sanders every week, to all sorts of people. When they return the machines to us, a bit dusty and tired from their hard day’s work, they have a certain sense of personal pride having completed the job themselves while saving a lot of money.
We only keep modern, fully serviced and reliable machines in our hire fleet. Every machine is checked over by experienced technicians before going out on hire
Our staff are fully trained to demonstrate the workings of the machines to you before you leave our shop. We also supply the high-quality sandpaper needed to get your job done. Any consumables you don’t use, we will take back. You only get charged for what you use. We are easy to reach should you need any more advice or guidance during your job.
Our machines are easy to use, so you do not have to be an expert to sand floors We are rarely out of stock of machines, weekends are busiest but you can book in advance. You can hire them on a day that suits you and not have to rely on fitting in with someone else’s schedule.
To hire a floor sander and edging sander for 24 hours, the 2 machines will cost €65. You might use €20 or €30 of sandpaper, so, all in including vat, you are roughly looking at €100 - €120. And that’s the same if you want to take them Saturday morning to Monday morning, the 2 machines for the whole weekend for €65 plus vat!
